About

I learned business and technology first.
Then I learned the law.

Before law, I worked in business operations at a technology company and ran two ventures of my own. That background shapes how I read contracts, data flows and digital evidence.

Practice

Nine areas in two groups: cyber, technology and business law at the centre of the practice, and the court work those matters lead to, together with the criminal, civil, family and service cases taken up alongside them.

FAQ

Common questions

My bank account was frozen over a UPI transaction. What should I do first?
Ask your branch, in writing, for the details of the freeze — which authority ordered it, the reference or acknowledgment number, and whether the whole account or only a specific amount is frozen. Preserve every record of the transaction in question, and do not ignore any contact from the police. The remedies that follow — representation to the cyber cell, an application before the Magistrate, or a writ petition — all depend on those details.
Does the DPDP Act apply to my small business?
In most cases, yes. The Act applies to any business that processes digital personal data, whatever its size; there is no general small-business exemption, though section 17(3) lets the Government exempt notified classes, such as startups, from some provisions. Most duties apply from 14 May 2027.
A cheque given to me has bounced. What are the time limits?
Send a written demand notice to the drawer within 30 days of receiving the bank's return memo. If payment is not made within 15 days of the notice being received, a complaint under Section 138 of the Negotiable Instruments Act can be filed before the Magistrate within one month after that period ends.
Which courts do you appear before?
I appear before: High Court of Kerala; District & Sessions Courts, Ernakulam; Sub Courts and Munsiff Courts, Ernakulam (including Rent Control Courts); Family Court, Ernakulam; Chief Judicial Magistrate and Judicial First Class Magistrate Courts, Ernakulam; Commercial Court, Ernakulam; Motor Accidents Claims Tribunal, Ernakulam; Labour Court and Industrial Tribunal, Ernakulam; District and State Consumer Disputes Redressal Commissions; K-RERA and the Real Estate Appellate Tribunal; Micro and Small Enterprises Facilitation Council; Income Tax Appellate Tribunal and GST Appellate Tribunal; Data Protection Board of India and TDSAT. Appearance before the Kerala and Central Administrative Tribunals (the Original Application is drafted here, and the OP(KAT) or OP(CAT) is handled in the High Court), the DRT and DRAT, the NCLT and NCLAT, and the ESI and PF authorities is referred to counsel who practise there, as are matters in courts outside Kerala.
Can you take up my matter if I live outside Ernakulam?
Yes, for matters before the High Court of Kerala and the courts at Ernakulam. Papers move digitally and conferences can be held by video or phone. If you already have an advocate in your district, I can work alongside them as counsel at Ernakulam; see the For Advocates page.
Can you draft for me if I am outside Kerala, or outside India?
Yes. Drafting is document work: facts and papers are shared over email or WhatsApp, we speak if needed, and the finished document is sent in Word and PDF, ready for filing where that applies. Indian-law opinions and contract reviews for clients abroad work the same way.
